Orvokkikujan palvelutalo, common premises – interior architecture, Orivesi 2023

Oriveden Orvokkikujan Palvelutalo is sheltered home for elderly people. Intensified sheltered housing refers to living in a sheltered home with care and assistance 24/7. We designed the interior for common premises. During many years we have been developing furnishing concept for elderly people’s common premises to/with the city of Tampere. Concept has been developing during the years and it based on a practical experience. Orvokkikujan Palvelutalo´s common dining and living room have circadian lighting which provides the appropriate intensity and spectrum of light throughout different points of the day. Circadian lighting has a significant impact on sleep, mood, and general wellbeing.
